Talk Up Your Portrait Experience!
Your portrait session begins long before you are in front of the camera. Set the tone for your session by anticipating your portrait experience as a fun activity for everyone involved. Kids will be kids and I understand the need for them (and you!) to goof around and play during their session, in fact I encourage it!
Be Creative with Your Portrait Wardrobe!
Think personality! Think color! Think fun! Dress the kids in something that they want to wear and will feel comfortable wearing. Feel free to bring extra clothing and accessories. Infants photograph well in simple clothing like a onesie and a plain or covered diaper. Be prepared to be in photographs with your baby.
Choose Your Location
Consider portraits in a park, around downtown, your home or the Botanical Gardens. Newborn sessions typically take place in the comfort of your home. I will be happy to make location suggestions for your portrait session.
Your Personalized Portrait Session
Your session will be fun, relaxed and natural! I make it a priority to get to know everyone being photographed and to play with your children throughout the portrait session. We will most likely be on the move and I will follow your children around as they play, photographing their natural expressions and actions.
After Your Portrait Session
After editing your proofs I will post them in a private, password protected gallery. Easy online ordering lets your friends and family place separate orders. Once you have viewed your gallery we can then discuss how you would like your printed portraits to look and I can help you with choosing the right portraits for your home and loved ones.
